LostMessiah views itself as a collaboration of the efforts of our readership that often provides us with the subject matter upon which we focus. Insofar as you rely on us for accuracy and fairness where necessary, or scathing criticism where justified, we rely on you to let us know when we have it wrong or when you want to change our focus.
Our email address is email@example.com. We generally respond to inquiries within 48-72 hours.
With respect to commentary posted by LostMessiah’s blogger(s), we endeavor to base our analyses, opinions, data and information upon reliable sources. We endeavor to repost the sources and/or share the links to those sources for our readership. We are not, however, infallible. In the event that we make a mistake or there is a typo or other error, we ask that you kindly let us know by way of email: firstname.lastname@example.org. To reiterate, we usually respond to all emails within 48-72 hours.
If there is an error or if our analysis is based upon objectively faulty information and thus misguided conclusions, we ask that you let us know. We will endeavor to correct any article in question or to remove it from circulation from our site if we discover that it is materially inaccurate.
We have used photographs and other information publicly available online, and rely upon the digital environment and the laws covering that environment when we republish anything. In the event that there is a story with a photograph that is troubling or otherwise on which there is a copyright; and you maintain that we have somehow violated a digital copyright, please contact us at the website to inform us according. To reiterate, the address is email@example.com.
It is not our goal, nor has it ever been our intention, to violate copyrights or other trademarked information and we will generally oblige requests to remove otherwise copyrighted or trademarked or even offensive materials, if provided reasons to do so; and/or if doing so does not materially alter the truth or accuracy of other information. We have no intention of violating anyone’s rights under any digital media or other copyright or trademark laws.
LostMessiah is and has been a repository for news stories that affect or effect the community that we cover. We view ourselves, to the best of our collective abilities, as providing reliable information for your review. We rely quite heavily on the integrity of the news stories, the journalists, the writers and their coverage when we republish articles. We cannot be held accountable for any republication of a news story or link to same wherein we republished something that we had reason to believe was true and accurate at the time of publication and it turned out not to be the case. That is not to say that we will not make best efforts to correct those mistakes or remove articles from circulation.
If you discover that there is a news story that has been changed, altered, updated or revised; and, that we have not caught those edits to that story, we would be most grateful if you would advise accordingly so that we can take strides to make immediate changes or corrections.
This site was created for the purpose of accountability. It is ultimately our goal to make the world a better place for those who live in it. It is not our intention to create a pool of innocent victims of a broad and sometimes careless internet environment. In other words, we do our best and we take great thought and care in the items that we post. While we realize that we can be aggressive and even scathing in our commentary; when our conclusions are posted, they reflect a belief in the truth and accuracy of the information collected and the formulation of that information. If we have somehow inadvertently maligned someone, we apologize in advance.
We ask that you advise us immediately upon discovery of any error in an article so that we can edit accordingly or make amends where necessary. We are mere mortals and while many within our posts view themselves as some sort of higher authority, we do not.
Finally, we note that WordPress dates all of our articles upon posting, a date that is included in the links to our articles. If we make changes or updates, we have and will continue to do our best to acknowledge the updates in a parenthetical to the article. We look forward to a continued collaboration with you, our readership. We hope one day that this site will become wholly obsolete.
Given the last few days, however, we are not very optimistic.
