GERSHON BARKANY – THE INCREDIBLE DISAPPEARING CRIMINAL…
In 2013 Gershon Barkany was arrested for perpetrating a fifty-million dollar Ponzi scheme. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced. He left many victims in his wake.
He then violated the terms of his bail, which was revoked, and was remanded to custody.
This was a story covered many times by Shmarya on failedmessiah.
Barkany’s sentencing was adjourned 7 times, the final date being June 15, 2016. There is a case in the docket for a Bankruptcy but that’s where the trail ends.
The docket report for his criminal case indicates that all sentencing documents had been submitted. The government’s sentencing memo was file on June 14, 2016 and there has not been a single entry since.
No requests for an adjournment and no record of his actually being sentenced.
The Federal BOP does not have Barkany listed on its website.
How could he just disappear?

Gershon Barkany is being sentenced December 21, 2018 in Central Islip, NY at the Federal Courthouse. all victims are welcome to attend and speak to the judge (Judge Bianco) prior to the judge imposing sentence. It is beleived Barkany will actually be sentenced due to the fact that Judge Bianco has been named to the Appeals Court and he wants to clear out all his cases before moving and this case has lingered on the books too long.

Greg please also follow up on his defrauding his oil investors while in jail, this guy is a scammed that deserves the max time, he is also Gay and likes young boys, is that allowed in the Torah? Lease look into this, all Victims should appear at his hearing and the FBI should follow up on his continued fraud while at geo of his oil investors, he took it 3.5 million from them when the deal was only for 3 million and he kept 500 thousand for himself,

Gershon Barkany is definitely being sentenced tomorrow in Judge Bianco’s court in Central Islip (the large, white Federal Courthouse off the Southern State exit 43A). all victims, past, present and future are encouraged to attend and may speak. If you intend on speaking, please notify the court officers when you enter the court.

Manny members of the community came to court to support Barkany. No victims came. He only received a sentence of 56 months. Nobody was there to speak up.

Do you have the documentation on that? We could not find the court information. And, it might have been too much to ask for the victims to speak up. It really would have meant they would have had to relive past traumas.

I was present in the courtroom. No victims spoke. The benches were packed with Jewish community supporters.

He’s is located at the 182-22 150th ave Jamaica NY 11413, he was in box for touching and playing with the genitals of a 19 year old that he supports and gives money too, he should not be allowed in a synagogue and families should be aware that he is a child molester. The name of the boy he’s with is Christopher Demina the kids lawyers name is Susan Walsh, this guy should be a registered sex offender, also while in jail he has defrauded his oil investors of 500k that should be investigated as well
