Chabad in Australia, “Encounters with Rabbis”…

CHABAD CONGREGANT – THE SAME THING THAT IS WRONG WITH THE OLD GUARD WILL BE WRONG WITH THE NEW GUARD…

We received the below letter from an anonymous contributor to our posts with the following comments:

Should be interesting.
I see nothing to stop those who have been the most virulent supporters of the disgraced regime from themselves being appointed.
I think it quite possible, indeed likely that we will be left with a democratically elected body little different to the old guard.
I hope I am wrong but if I am right I see my own situation as being intolerable & will need to say “You win,I’m out of here”.
That should make a lot of people happy.
If there are not even 10 or 5 good men left will Hashem destroy the place as he destroyed Sodom?

Dear Congregant,

I write to you about the election process at Yeshivah.

I am grateful to those who attended the information sessions and provided feedback.

Many different opinions about various topics associated with the Yeshivah Centre were voiced during these sessions. All were put very passionately.

Clearly, our community feels very strongly about our moissad and its future. Now is the time to get involved.

The Constitutions are being finalised. This will begin a mandatory statutory period involving registration of the companies with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission before the new structure can be implemented.

Once that period is complete, the trustees will resign, eligible members of the community will be able to apply for membership of Yeshivah Beth Rivkah Schools Limited and Chabad Institutions of Victoria Limited and nominate for positions on those boards. This will begin the formal election process.

In the interim, I would like to encourage each and every one of us to consider nominating themselves or encouraging others to do so. There can be no more rewarding work than facilitating the efficient and transparent operation of our moissad which has gone through hard times but holds incredible potential. For this process to work best, it is critical that we have a cross-section of viewpoints in order to truly represent the views of our community. If you feel you have something to offer now is the time for action.

If anyone has any queries about the process and what it would mean to nominate for a position, or generally, I would be more than happy to discuss. Please do not hesitate to contact me.

  1. “but if I am right I see my own situation as being intolerable & will need to say “You win,I’m out of here”.”

Nonsense! When you are out of there (Chabad), it is YOU who wins.

It’s very unfortunate that they abuse Torah to advance their agenda and use the truth therein to convince customers of their lies. But using religion to abuse and scam people is a business way older than Chabad itself.

THEY ARE A CULT, from Crown Heights to Los Angeles to Melbourne to Israel.
Ask yourself: Do they care about you? Do they care about your loved ones? They may claim to, but do their actions support those claims? Do they really care about the instructions of Torah, or are they a self-serving clique and full of bullshit? What have their actions shown you till this day? Does Chabad serve God, or do they serve Chabad?
You already know the answer. And sooner or later you’ll have to act on it. Run, don’t walk. It’s not easy.

But in the words of the Mishna, “אם לא עכשיו אימתי” “ if not now, when”?
