Platinum Partners, LM Comments:
We would like to thank our “Tips” contributor for this one. We only saw it today as it had gotten caught in our filters.
From the words of our contributor, the following is an introduction to Murray Huberfeld, a preamble of sorts to an article we are writing on Black Elk, coming out later today. We have highlighted the relevant points in red, which will then be easily referenced in trying to explain the Black Elk deal. Black Elk was a creative and excruciatingly complicated stratagem, allowing Huberfeld and Nordlicht to drain the company of its assets, by voting against themselves.
Apparently, as the below would have one believe, Huberfeld and his family foundation seem to believe that “Philanthropic” giving exonerates one from any and all crimes committed to obtain the funds to give. We steadfastly disagree.
